Merry Monday

Postal lines on December Mondays are crazy long at our local office. Seems we've all been out over the weekend buying gifts. Now it's time to get them in the mail to friends and family all across the country. When I walk up to the post office and the line stretches out the door I sigh. Maybe the post office should work the lines like Disney does. "If you are in line here it will be 30 minutes till you ride." Actually last time I got in a long line at the post office I checked my watch to see how long it really took for my turn. It was only 15 minutes. So now when I get in a long line I say a little prayer for all of us waiting. Patience is at the top of my list of course but I also add a thought of good cheer and hope we'll smile and chat in line rather than complain about how long this is taking! It's only 15 minutes.
