Friendly Mail!

The mailman brought yarn today! Hooray. Love that man! Remember the days when checking the mail meant walking to the curb and seeing what was in the box? I do. Yes I am that old. I love snail mail. In fact I was quite a letter writer at one time. One year, I think it was 1991 (I told you I was old remember) I wrote a friendly letter every day. I got so carried away I started doubling up and by the end of the year the count was 500. Oh my. (I suspect some folks have posted that much on Facebook in a month, week?!) I still think fondly of the hand written letter. Maybe I should take up the pen again. It’s fun. Think of the novelty. No one is expecting friendly snail mail anymore. And think of the excuse to buy stationery and lovely stamps. Yes, this has great possibility.
